How much longer are you going to wait before you do something to help this problem we all have? Is it more important to save a few dollars and watch our country go down the tubes? Or is your constitutional United States of America the true foundation we must work to restore?

A “Made in the USA” product needs to have content consisting of 51% or more of domestically produced or manufactured parts, labor, and or value-added content or any combination thereof. The ownership of a company is not the key factor.

When this question is asked, most Americans do not really seem concerned as to why they should purchase American-made products. These same people represent the majority of America which is the middle class. Middle-class Americans should definitely be concerned with the buy American issue.

How does a nation arrive at a point of financial breakdown? Does arrogant entitlement and over-extension beyond one’s means resonate with today’s news headlines? On a national level, we are experiencing the severity of living on international credit – coming to fruition.

The United States is rapidly becoming the very first “post-industrial” nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution.

Buy American! might sound like nothing more than a slogan advanced by American manufacturers to sell products made in the USA, but the truth is that there are many reasons to consider buying American-made clothing, American-made toys, and other US-manufactured goods.

Americans are creating tens of millions of jobs in other countries with our purchasing power, and we are losing tens of millions of jobs in our country because foreigners are not buying as much of our goods and services. What are they doing? They’re buying our assets. So we lose twice. We lose the jobs, and we are moving further toward national bankruptcy. That is the end game.
